Hello! I would loooooove to attend a workshop in Chicago. If anyone has more information, please e-mail it to me. I'm 25 years of age, my husband passed away six months ago. Since his passing I've been doing a lot of reading about the afterlife, I am extremely interested on learning everything that has to do with this topic. My mother passed away just now, but 14,000 miles away from where i am. I could not see her before she died. I am feeling so hollow with in me. All i want is to know how is she is doing? I had a very close friend pass on recently. Shortly after I had a revealing experience concerning all death. He seemed to talk to me ... not with words, however,..it was something like...now, do you remember? And he had a "look" in his eyes that tried to convey some kind of knowledge. The turning point in mans spiritual evolution is the experience of God. After gaining his vision the candidate yearning for God becomes intense and the worldly charms become unattractive to him. The more he draws nearer God the more he withdraws from the world. Infact, the devotee need not make an effor to do it. It is enough if he remains loyal in devotion to God. Due to ignorance man thinks that the worldly attractions are the ultimate and seeks happiness from them. His sorrows and frustrations are due to his inability to see the brief nature of all worldly relationships and joys. It is this search for eternal bliss that urges man onto the spiritual path and once his evotion becomes steady, the mind gets weaned from worldly attractions on its own accord.The mind has the characteristics of acquiring the qualities of the object of its own preoccupation. So when the mind dwells on god it acquires divine-like qualities. When a person develops a taste for spiritual life he is drawn to the divine name, as it is the concrete form of God. The association between the name and form is apparent even in all worldly experiences.Though Gods vision is possible only when the devotees mind becomes pure, the very nature of the Divine name is such that it creates a longing for hisvision. This is the effect of chanting Gods name through japa or hymns or pure thinkings.The divine name is capable of neutralising all the sins of man and the hidden tendencies, which prompt his mind to run after sensory pleasures, are also rooted out. The Divine name is like fire that can consume any kind of fuel and reduce it to ashes. What is essential were faith in God and regular prayer

In December we enjoyed hosting Bruce Moen's Learning to Explore the Afterlife Workshop here in Lillian, AL.Everyone loved the peaceful country setting and their stay in the rustic waterfront cabins. We had plenty of time to interact, share and establish new friendships. We all enjoyed sitting and chatting with Bruce around the campfire after the Ice cream social.We asked Bruce to return on the weekend of March 3 and 4th, 2001, and he said yes!. He is happy and excited to come back.We are an easy drive from most southeastern locations, just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico on beautiful Perdido Bay. 15 min. W of Pensacola, 45 min. E of Mobile, AL and about 4 hrs. E of New Orleans and 8 hrs from Central and Southeastern FL and 5 hrs from Atlanta,GA... If you are interested please respond via e-mail.
